Mountain Pilates is a vibrant wellbeing studio located in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges. The studio is set among natural treetop views which create a calm and inspiring atmosphere for all classes. 

The team at Mountain Pilates focus on intentional, pain-free movement that builds strength, improves flexibility and enhances overall wellbeing. Their approach centres on three key pillars: Body, Mind and Community. This means sessions are not just about exercise. They also nurture grounding awareness and connection with others through shared experiences. 

Classes are varied, catering to beginners and experienced participants. You can choose from Reformer Pilates classes which use specialised equipment for strength and postural work, Mat Pilates for core and mobility training, TRX for total-body resistance work, and a range of yoga sessions that focus on breath, balance and relaxation. Additional options include power Pilates for a stronger challenge, stretch classes for recovery, and community-focused sessions like Pilates in the park and Over 50s gentle classes. 

Mountain Pilates also hosts workshops, restorative retreats, special events and donation-based classes, offering more ways to grow your practice and be part of a supportive fitness community. The studio keeps pricing accessible and welcomes everyone with expert guidance and personalised attention.

Attended the Open Day on 11 October 2025 and was very impressed by the lovely, warm and welcoming team. The Sound Healing that accompanied the sessions was in itself mesmerising. The 20 minute free sample Mat Pilates class was kept small and participants received personalised attention. Jeanette is obviously an expert in her field and a wonderful facilitator and example of what can be achieved with intention, focus and dedication to her clientele and local community by offering an amazing place of natural beauty, connection, healing and welcome. A surprise goodie bag was available to participants – so generous! Thank you for a magic and extraordinary morning and I’m looking forward to joining a regular class in the future.
Gave yoga a try today. Being closer to 70, than 60, and having some movement limitations, I was very unsure about whether I’d be able to fully participate. I need not have worried. I was given so much support, kind words and reassurance, I thoroughly enjoyed it….it was amazing. I have already gained so much from attending chair pilates with Jeanette on a Monday at Monbulk, today was the icing on the cake.
